Calling all prospective officials!
D9RA has a need for additions to its staff next fall. If you’re a player, parent, or coach and you’d like to see hockey from a new perspective, you can register for our D9RA tryout and potentially don the stripes during the 2022-23 season.

HOCKEY CANADA OFFICIATING PATHWAY
The COVID-19 pandemic has produced tremendous challenges for officiating numbers across Hockey Eastern Ontario, and the GHA is no different. We need new adult and youth officials to re-build our numbers.
Join us for our interest meeting May 15, where you’ll receive information on the on-ice tryout process, learn how D9RA selects its new officials, and be introduced to current senior officials and D9RA executive members to speak about their experiences.
From there, we will host the tryout June 5. All ages and skill levels are welcome to attend the tryout for a $15 fee. The tryout will have two components – on-ice skill testing, and a job interview.

D9RA is the governing body for minor hockey officials within Hockey Eastern Ontario's District 9. Our mission is to foster the development and mentorship of a high-quality officiating development program, and to service District 9 regular season and tournament games with on-ice officials at the house league and competitive level.
Our association's development program has led officials on to work in high-performance hockey, including the CCHL, OHL, U SPORTS, and the NHL.
