The Blues are saddened by the passing of long time Blues Coach and OMHA board member Kevin Gallagher.

Kevin Gallagher’s Celebration of Life
It may be his Irish heritage but man, Kevin loved a good party! He was always the last to be dragged out of any shindig because he had FOMO (fear of missing out) even before it was a “thing”!
You are invited to celebrate the life of a kind and wonderful man who touched each of us in his special way. Please join us (Moyra, Conor, Kate, Mary Lou and Mary Ellen) at The Prescott, 379 Preston St. Ottawa on August 6 from 3 pm to close.
Kevin was never one to stand on ceremony, so our hope is that everyone who loved him will come and share some stories (Pop Tarts, anyone?!) tell dad jokes, listen to a playlist of his favourite songs, laugh (a lot!), shed a few sad and happy tears and raise a glass to him.
There will be an “open mic” so if anyone has any planned or impromptu words you will be most welcome to share.
Kevin took great pride in saying: “ I haven’t worn a tie in 14 years” and as such, ties will NOT be permitted at this event! And in keeping with his ever so casual fashion sense, shorts, T-shirts, favourite team shirts and the like are highly encouraged.
